I guess this just proves how important dessert is. I always joke- but I’m actually completely serious- that the strengths of my friendships are directly correlated to how much that friend loves food. And in this case I might as well directly relate it to chocolate.
It crazy that we easily would have never started talking- or perhaps not as candidly, had you not been eating some for of chocolate and a pot de creme that evening at Lolo. Thank goodness you were, because it has been absolutely amazing getting to know you and having you as my good friend. It feels like we must have hung out more than a handful of times, but even though that’s all it’s been, I love how we have managed to have fascinating conversations about language, career goals, and all aspects of life. You are one of the very veryy few people that I can get work done around, that actually makes me more productive, and one of the even fewer people that helps me feel better about my future when facing it and talking it through, rather than wanting to avoid it at all costs. It’s an incredible and empowering feeling, so thank you for your wonderfully deft skills in executive and life coaching.
Although I have only known you for so long, I wanted to write you this letter to let you know that you bring out happiness and hope in my life. I also wanted to share this project with you because I think you would be the perfect person to help me spread the love behind it.
If this letter has brought you joy and made you feel loved, then I would greatly appreciate it if you would take the time to share that feeling with the people you love.
Happy Birthday
I hope to see you soon in Sudamerica!
